PTU has reached its excellence by offering job-oriented courses in the fields of technical, management and pharmaceutical. Presently, around 150 Engineering colleges, 156 Management colleges, 96 Pharmacy colleges, 68 architecture colleges and 41 BSC MLT and Hotel Management and Catering Technology colleges are training students under the administration of PTU.

Introduction of distance learning program is another major achievement in the growth trajectory of PTU. Around 350 learning centres all over the country offer PTU distance learning programmes, which comprise some high-demand diploma, UG and PG courses in IT, Hotel Management & Tourism, Fashion and Beauty Technologies, Paramedical and Applied Technologies and Media Technologies.

Providing in-depth and quality-oriented study materials, PTU distance learning programmes are a great edge for professionals to excel in their careers. Especially, the new syllabus pattern of PTU distance learning programme helps students to stay updated about the requirements of current job market. Moreover, many learning centres offer online learning support.
Admissions to various distance learning courses of PTU are open twice a year: March and September. For counselling, students can contact their nearest learning centres, offering PTU distance learning courses. The semester and examinations for various programmes are also held in March and September. Last but not the least, active placement cell in many PTU distance learning centres help students to gear up their dream careers.
